My mother was worried and left me alone
Off in the dark she left 'soon to come home'
Afraid as I was, I waited till 10
When she came home it was all over by then!!
Asleep she had waited saddened by fright...
Nightmares awaited, in the shadows, for night-
When the mother came home she found she was late,
the daughter was asleep in an un-heavenly wait...

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
